We were proud to support Chester Zoo’s continued conservation work by providing bespoke fencing solutions within its new Heart of Africa development. The fencing provides essential safety for staff, visitors and animals, while its natural design complements the environment and helps maintain a calm, authentic atmosphere for the animals.

Scope of Works:

• 3m high cranked security fencing to secure the site boundary.
• 500m of giraffe friendly chain link fencing complete with anti dig panels to keep out their curious Warthog neighbours.
• A 4.0m high giraffe house fence made from naturally ‘wonky’ Robina timber.
• Over 600m of Boma styled fencing, railings, viewing platforms and stairways to help create a truly wild experience for guests.
• Provided a brand new home for various species of Vultures and wetland birds.
